Frequently Asked Personal Injury Questions

 Do I have a case?
That depends. There are three distinct parts to a personal injury case:
Liability (who's fault was the accident),
injury (such as, soft tissue, fracture, scaring, amputation or death) and
the insurance by the adverse vehicle.
Should the adverse vehicle not have insurance there are two options:
Your own uninsured prevision of your policy or MVAC. If you have both a clear liability and injuries, then you will most likely have a case.

How much will I receive from my personal injury case and
how much is it worth?
Law is not an exact science. Any accident lawyer that tells a prospective client a dollar amount at their initial meeting is both unprofessional and suspect.
Evaluation is always complex and must include things like nature of liability,
extent and severity of injuries, economic loss, and insurance coverage.
Insurance coverage is important on both sides, yours as well as the adverse vehicle.Settlement of a case can take as little as one month or as long as
several years based on the all factors of the accident.
For the most part we try to settle in about six months. An accurate dollar value is arrived within the first three to six months of the file.

How soon will I receive lost wages?
It depends on several factors; if this is a motor vehicle accident it will be covered under your No Fault policy you should receive payment with in 30 day’s
of the carrier’s receipt of the necessary paperwork
If this is a work accident, we work hand in hand with your workers compensation attorney to establish payment as soon as 30 days.
Should you not be covered by any of the above we help in completing all documents for short time disability.

Will my car be fixed or the amount owed be paid for by insurance?
Depending on the level of the liability we attempt to get the adverse carrier to pay all property damage so that you are not making a claim against your insurance.
If the adverse carrier or defendant does not carry insurance, we will go first party and assign your carrier for all repairs.
